The Warriors are looking great! And I may have to head over to Ebay and grab a Dain for my Iron Hills army!

I think Dain came out great. You should cast the dwarves, any dwarf that fits our scale while not being squat like WHF has a place and a market. It may be a small market at first, but if you preserve the molds and do a couple batches every time you get an order, you should keep stock and keep working time down to make it worth your while. You can also convert from your casts and come up with some alternate poses to grow the line.

And I've just bought a Dain! Cheers for offering these, this officially means I've bought more BotFA stuff from you than from GW! Can't wait to paint him up!

Do you have plans for any more characters? I'd certainly be interested in an armoured Azog or a Bolg!

I want one! Lamentably, we live far away so shipping is out of the question. Great work though!

Nice dwarves! As always, really looking forward to something awesome when they're done! This is one of our favourite WIPs :-D

Nice work. Your sculpting style seams familiar, I think I have some old mini's that have similar feel to them. I think it is the thin limbs and thin torso's that is making me think of it. With all the armor, those guys would be pretty lithe underneath.
The orc is looking good. Orcs and dwarves are good choices to get into this market.

Those are all coming along very nicely!

Since you asked, here's Dain painted up! He was a very nice mini to work on, and fits perfectly with my other Iron Hills Dwarves!

I've just finished reading this topic and I am so impressed by this what I see.

Some people are very skilled, what makes them a great individuals. Definitely, you Ridgeback belong to these "lucky (Oooh, naughty word)" :-)

Great sculpts, very good painting skills.
I especially love your Dain on boar sculpt. Fantastic job and I guess it is the only one all over the world.

Those are super! You have a really nice characteristic style that is showing more and more. We wouldn't think twice of buying an army of your sculpts!

It would be cool if you could also make Dwarves on rams, and maybe some of the other things that were deleted from the final film (Dwarf ballista, Ram chariot, etc.) Just ideas, but we think many people would still love to get them, and you would certainly do them justice.

In Rivendell.

Joking! We're German, but we live in southern Africa, very far away from any hobby stores, forget about Games Workshops. We do occasionally go to Germany and we usually use the opportunity to stock up on miniatures and modelling supplies. :)

Awesome, just awesome........

Must be extremely satisfying to take something from nothing to fully complete. I have trouble filling gaps with green stuff so your work is very much an inspiration.

thanks sithious i always try do the gw proportions but i think they have too diffrences between there proportions. the hobbit dwarves are thiner then the lotr dwarves.
but you are right they are thin. on the next i will do a better job. :)

Your costumer is very lucky! :)

Nice job. Your sculpting is seamless on the GW model, looks like a Perry sculpt! 8)
