Nice work. Your sculpting style seams familiar, I think I have some old mini's that have similar feel to them. I think it is the thin limbs and thin torso's that is making me think of it. With all the armor, those guys would be pretty lithe underneath.
The orc is looking good. Orcs and dwarves are good choices to get into this market.
thanks sithious i always try do the gw proportions but i think they have too diffrences between there proportions. the hobbit dwarves are thiner then the lotr dwarves.
but you are right they are thin. on the next i will do a better job.

nice work as always ! the orc promising well ! do you create a simple head or a complex helmet of gundabad orc ?!
can i do i little (costructive)criticism ?!
the dwarf shield if you watch carefully the film , are longer , about few mm more !
thanks haradrim! on this orc i will try to make a simple orc head. the next orcs will get some helmets.
you are right with the shield

Those are all coming along very nicely!
Since you asked, here's Dain painted up! He was a very nice mini to work on, and fits perfectly with my other Iron Hills Dwarves!

I've just finished reading this topic and I am so impressed by this what I see.
Some people are very skilled, what makes them a great individuals. Definitely, you Ridgeback belong to these "lucky (Oooh, naughty word)"
Great sculpts, very good painting skills.
I especially love your Dain on boar sculpt. Fantastic job and I guess it is the only one all over the world.
thanks for the great words pal!

Those are super! You have a really nice characteristic style that is showing more and more. We wouldn't think twice of buying an army of your sculpts!
It would be cool if you could also make Dwarves on rams, and maybe some of the other things that were deleted from the final film (Dwarf ballista, Ram chariot, etc.) Just ideas, but we think many people would still love to get them, and you would certainly do them justice.

Thanks !!
where do you live, if i can ask?
In Rivendell.
Joking! We're German, but we live in southern Africa, very far away from any hobby stores, forget about Games Workshops. We do occasionally go to Germany and we usually use the opportunity to stock up on miniatures and modelling supplies.

Awesome, just awesome........
Must be extremely satisfying to take something from nothing to fully complete. I have trouble filling gaps with green stuff so your work is very much an inspiration.

That Orc is shaping up nicely.
