ehe thanks man. I wouldn't mind, but what would I cast it in? Plaster is quite delicate + I find it takes quite a while to make.

True :!:
I would use resin. You could make back the cost with your first sales on e bay. Might be some extra money for school

This thread is really fun to look through.

How is Uni affecting your hobby time, Drumstick?

I need to see more updates in future. :P

So you haven't given up yet huh? 8)

Looking forward to see more mate! It's been such a long time since we saw you starting this project, and I always smile when someone starts... and nears the finish, cause it reminds me on the projects I keep failing to finish ;)
Goodluck!

@Dorthonion: Thanks man, yeah you should!

@Shieldmaiden: Cheers, I'm glad you like my work. Well being at uni means I have literally no time for hobby stuff at all - but fortunately I took an art related course and can make models as part of my portfolio!

@Buck: Never!! I must always be building something :D . ehe yeah there's always something that I never get finished.

@John: Thanks man, I'm glad you like it

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I mentioned I had a small update last week, I'm afraid I still haven't taken any pictures. However I have a different surprise which I've been working on for my uni course. I started this earlier and it's only taken a few hours and so far I'm quite happy. I'd like to have more time to put in even more detail, but I'm afraid this is due Friday for my critique and I'm no-where near finished. Tell me what you guys think! It could fit LotR perfectly huh? I'll try and get a model next to it for scale on the next picture.

Excellent work. The latest is gothic/neo-gothic so more suited to Dracula, or fantasy of the WH kind, possibly even WH40K. Middle-earth is more Romanesque, Egyptian and Dark Ages (Norse-Saxon-Celtic, for example Rohan).
What impresses me the most is your technique with that amazing material - it's like conjuring walls out of thin air. Brilliant!
