Hello fellow SBG gamers!

When I was younger, my Uncle took me to a gamesworkshop store in the city. I had no idea what any of this was, but he let me buy several sets of models, including a large starter box for Lord of the Rings. While the other models were fun, the LotR game was the only one my brother a
nd I put together and played. We loved it.

20 years later, I am happy to say that I have gotten myself back into this hobby. Now collecting and (finally) painting my models. While I don't really get to play, I have come to love how much better of a game SBG is compared to others.

I am very happy to have found this community to learn more and discuss this great game and fun hobby! Game On!

Ah, a New Yorker! Splendid! Welcome aboard the Forum.

Not sure where you are in the state, but there are tournaments hosted just over the New Jersey board in a town called Mahwah: at Mythicos Studios I believe. I've never been myself, but I hear they are pretty laid back and good to get a few games in if there aren't people to play in your local area.
