I’ve been spending some time making and (mostly) allocating existing sbg profiles to match the some of the factions and characters from Warhammer Fantasy

Sounds like a good idea, using the awesome SBG rules.

Presumably you are looking for a skirmish WFB, though, rather than massed battles, where the SBG rules can get a little clunky at times?
