New Matched Play guide up for pre-order, along with serpent riders, Khandish horsemen and the wild men of Druadan. Looks like a reprint or slight update of the classic twelve tournament scenarios, all bound together. I love books, but I think I'll pass on this one. I have lots of versions of these classic scenarios in my other books.

'Three Hunters' mounted available too. which is basically gimli and Legolas mounted and the Aragon mounted model from Warg attack. Want the Aragorn model but already have the others. D'oh. Picked myself up some serpent riders thought that will finished off that collection!.

The matched play book has 24 scenarios. These are the 12 classic ones for single-player tournaments, six new ones (including "assassination") for single-player tournaments and six new ones for doubles matches.

So in future singles tournaments could choose from 18 instead of 12 scenarios. The book is probably a reasonable purchase for those going to (or running) events, though would be nice to get the new scenarios as cards like the general's accessory pack, as this is easier to fit on the table for reference.

I wanted mounted Aragorn too but had the Legolas/Gimli. Might pick it up and try to sell Legolas/Gimli on.

I don't think that it is a 'must buy' but it does seem reasonable value if you are a tournament goer.

What new Éomer? Do you know more than we know? Or is it just some rumour.
I don't think there will be a new one, but maybe (or hopefully) I'm wrong... ;)

There should be more of the War in Rohan characters coming along relatively soon, including the ent characters and Snaga the orc.

Do you think the ents will be two different models, or one kit with options ... or even a resin upgrade for the existing plastic ent kit?

Given that most of the Forge World releases are in double-packs, who do you think Snaga will be packed with?

Ugluk and Snaga would be a good combo, but I suppose it wouldn't make sense to have a new model for Ugluk rather than Lurtz.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a new Lurtz ... he is the scariest Uruk Hai after all ... just ask Boromir!

Sons of erol dismount models, because, why not. And I think the match play guide is a good idea. Played in a doubles tourney on Saturday and realized that maelstrom deployment is not a great doubles scenario.
