Looking good, just needs some shaving and cleaning up on the spear head and what is on the toothpick once dry.

After some struggles with green stuff, I have managed to come up with this form for my banner, as it's seen on the photo. I still have some work to do, but for now I'm just waiting for the green stuff to dry, and then fixing it.

Though, I am happy, how it turned out so far. What are your thoughts?

Should leave it on a cork... Celebrate every time you win a game with the Dead of Dunharrow. ;) Must say, that banner is well done.

Haha, brilliant idea :-D  That would actually look pretty awesome with maybe some dwarf, drinking or toasting with his ale... but I think we don't have nay model of Gimli drinking in drinking contest with Legolas? :-D

The banner looks great! :yay: Very fitting for the dead, and nicely damaged. I think you can give the spear head a bit more detail, but overall I really like it!

I do agree with the spear head. It's something i'm planning to do now :)

You could use the Gimli model sitting on an Uru-Hai, he has a pipe I believe.

Took me quite some time to get those photos done. The model itself was finished already a week ago... And I must admit, I had fun modeling and painting him. Painting wasn't really difficult - bunch of drybrushes :)

But I was wondering, if I should paint any symbols on the banner. I decided then, that everything faded away in the long years he has lived cursed under the mountain. And as Aragorn described them: ''Murderers, traitors...'' They don't deserve any symbols and coat of arms. :)

Hope you guys like him. :)

I really like the ethereal wisp around his feet. Well done!

Finished another 5 warriors of the Dead. In this photo together with converted banner. I found out, that batch of 12 models takes too long and too many nerves, so I decided i should lower the amount of models, painted at the same time.

I like your new style of photographs - very professional looking. I agree on limited number of painting models, depending on the model, I have a hard time doing more than eight at a time. Any more and I tend to forget doing something on one of them and have to go back to finish it.

I like it a lot. I never did like the neon-green, but some greys looked wrong to me. This colour scheme you used feels... Just so right.

Thanks man. And yeah, I also don't really fancy the neon-green Army of the Dead. :)

Working on next 4 Warriors of the Dead, which are nearly finished, only bases remains to be done. Better pictures will follow of course, when they are completed.

Meanwhile, I also converted few Morannon Orcs - trying to get unique poses for all models. I am not really sure if I can pull this off, but so far they look pretty good I think.

So, those four Warriors of the Dead are finished:

Next on my paint list are 5 converted Morannon Orcs. You know, cutting hands and switching them :) You like them?

The WotD are really nicely done. The conversions on the Orcs are nice too. That first guy looks like a prime target for an arrow...

Oooh... very nice painting. Boromir, Elendil, the warriors of the dead, and the Morannon Orc conversions... all of it is superb!

Excellent painting and great details! just Boromir's face looks a bit too orange. Not sure if it's the photo though.

Wow, I really like your warriors of the dead!
Would you share your paint scheme for it? I like your grayish look more than the green wash methods most others seem to use.
