Hey all! Let's see your spookiest paint job. Its okay if you started already, it just has to be done entirely by you. Spirit or spider models only. Voting will begin on November 20th. Submit pics to this thread. There is a poll option to say you are painting a model. Good luck, and have fun! :-D

I'd love to participate in this. Hopefully the moderators will approve my first 3 posts in time so I can start joining in on this.

Totally up for this, loving the spooky theme... one question, do models we use have to be official GW one on this forum?

I think I'll whip out some more orcs. It is orc-tober after all. And one can never have too many orcs--seriously, I have like 40 of the guys and still need more for certain scenarios!

EDIT: Oh. I guess you have to do spirits. I still need to to the King of the Dead, so he'll be my entry.

Hm, I have a few Osgiliath Vets currently to paint, no spirits or spiders :(
Those already painted don't count right?

I think so, but not completely sure. But no one can tell under the paint if you pose it right.;)

Sure. Just submit a question if you think it should count. For instance, the Mouth of Sauron would also count.

If you add to them some they are fine. Started models are okay for this, seeing how it was put up late. Just add some extra details, give the base some terrain, etc.

Just general approved units:
Spirits
Spiders
Morgul knights/captains
Mouth of Sauron
Sauron
Ring-wraiths on fell beasts
Have others you want to do, and think they might fit? Ask me if it works, and I will get back to you. I recognize that people may not have spirits or spiders in need of paint(or have them at all!). There are few armies that use them, so lenience is allowed.
Reminder, as long as you add a substantial amount to an already started model, due to a less than desirable time frame, your submission will still be accepted.
Good luck and have fun!

Nice! Can't wait for the poll... But still one month left. That is a good paint job, gonna save a pic... Introducing the game at a demo night(hehe) on the fifteenth.

I love your knights. Did you get into the new blue technical paint?

Im gonna take this as an opportunity for finally paint Lord Sauron himself!

I havent got a clue how I want to do his armour so I might do a couple of test models first and see what happens.
