I've been in the hobby for around 8 months and have been on these forums for only around a month so I've decided to start a WIP thread. At the moment I'm working on some Uruk Hai Scouts, the 9 Nazgul and scratch sculpting a Necromancer based on the one in the secon and third Hobbit films, inspired by the one by Dave Fredricks in SBG issues 3 and 4. I'm very new to sculpting, my skills before I attempted this were limited to arm swaps and such repositions. I was in the process of sculpting a Necromancer before but part way through I found it didn't look as I had hoped so I cut off all the detail ad started resculpting it. If anyone has any advice or tips on sculpting please tell me because I am struggling on some aspects of the torso. I have already painted 12 Uruk Hai scouts I decided to convert my current 12 and I will with the next 12. Pictures of my 1 painted Nazgul, 1 painted Uruk Hai scout and the Nexromancer so far. Pictures of the other 11 Uruk Hai scouts will follow when they're painted. (Sorry for the bad picture quality, will try to improve it for future pictures).

Recently I have finished Lurtz and made some more progress on the Necromancer. I will texture and paint the bases but only once I've got a fair few models painted and ready for it.
