Good day everyone,
I've been collecting the forces of Isengard for a while now, and with the recent acquisition of a Fallen Realms sourcebook I've agreed to a battle. The thing is, my experience limited as I'm more of a painter than a player and I thought that some advice might be helpful.
I've put together a list of ± 750 points for a friendly game.
My current list goes as follows:
Warband 1 Uruk-Hai Captain 9 Uruk-Hai Warriors (4 sword & shield, 5 pikes) 3 Berserkers
Warband 2 Uruk-Hai Captain 9 Uruk-Hai Warriors (4 sword & shield, 5 pikes) 3 Berserkers
Warband 3 Vrasku 5 Uruk-Hai (Crossbow) 4 Uruk-Hai Scouts (Bows)
Warband 4 Uruk-Hai Shaman 1 Troll of Isengard (Shield & Spear) 2 Uruk-Hai Warriors (Pikes) 3 Wargs (Bows)
The way I see it, I've got two solide melee blocks to hold the lines or to push with. And with Vrasku's detachment I can provide some fire support by peppering the opponent with a mix of arrows and bolts.
I'm not entirely sure if the troll could be considered could be considered a waste of points, as another 10 Uruk-Hai Warriors could come in handy. I also thought of putting in some Warg Riders to harass my opponent, although they might die before I can charge them into anything worthwhile.
I'd love to get any sort of advice on the warband's structure, and whether I should add or remove unit here and there.
I know my opponent will be bringing 750 pts of Mordor with him, and I suspect that he might be bringing his own Troll or Great Beast of Gorgoroth with him.
Thanks in advance!

I would probably want to get Saruman in there. Probably in place of one of those captains, the warg riders and then you can get Grima too. He and Saruman and super good, and honestly anything you cut is probably worth it. Maybe the troll? or if you wanna keep the troll maybe cut both uruk captains, fill out the warbands and add Saruman and Grima to lead one of those two warbands.

From my personal experience, I find that in anything 700+ points, Saruman and Grima are an absolute must. You could probably cut one of the captains for Saruman to lead a warband. His ability to use transfix against enemy heroes is fantastic, people forget about that while trying for the big flash of sorcerous blast. The troll, in my opinion, while fun to play, often doesn't make up its points in a game, and 10 warriors, or a mix of warriors, ferals, berserkers, crossbows are more useful in the span of a game. I'd recommend getting as many crossbows in with Vrasku as possible in a list of this size, so probably 8 or 12. A banner carrier would also help. For comparison, I often have a list that looks like this:
Saruman (mounted) 10 Uruk-hai Warriors 2 Berserkers
Uruk-hai Captain (Heavy Armour, shield) 9 Uruk-hai Warriors 1 Uruk-hai Banner 2 Berserkers
Vrasku 8 crossbows 2 Uruk-hai Warriors 2 Berserkers

I've fought the Troll a few times and honestly I don't think he's worth it. Although they psychologically can psyche your opponent and take down many warriors, a determined assault will usually take it out if it's unsupported. It really seems to struggle in denser terrain if it gets cut off from the main army and surrounded. All couple of my Iron Guards and like 8 Grimhammers killed the Troll in about 2 turns after killing all the supporting Uruks while only losing like 3-4 guys. I think it's valuable if used right but I'd lean more towards more infantry.

I'll echo the sentiments that you want Saruman (on horse) and Grima.
I'd pull out one of the generic captains (NOT the shaman or Vrasku - I'd keep them), the troll (agree - the return on his points investment isn't good enough), and the wargs.
If you have more crossbows, I'd get them in, instead of the scouts with bows. Otherwise, fine.
Lastly, if you have more Berserkers or Ferals, I'd put them in, and pull out the "regular" Uruk-Hai. Again - if you don't have the models, then your mix is fine.
