Today I accessed the site from two different locations and was asked to provide my user name and password. One time I was logged in, the other I was not. The warning I got was from Windows security, stating that a website with "someone's name" was requesting this information and that the website asking for the info was not secure.

Hoping by posting this that the mods will look into the problem. Anyone else had this problem, or is it local to my internet provider or something?

I had the same problem. I just closed the pop up and kept surfing.

I have also experienced this problem several times. It seems to occur randomly as I navigate the site, whether I am logged in or not, and repeatedly when I try to access the same page. Examples:
viewtopic.php?f=50&t=32114
viewtopic.php?f=20&t=32166&p=408151#p408151
viewtopic.php?f=46&p=408150#p408150


This is the pop up I receive:

It then asks for my Name and Password, and gives the option to Cancel or Log In. I just click Cancel and the pop up disappears. I hope this gets fixed soon.

It only seems to happen on threads where "Highlordell" has posted.

I think it must be something in his signature or avatar that's causing it?

Good observation slinky! I just did a search for all posts authored by Highlordell, and every page he has posted on has the same problem.
