what to choose Mordor

Hello everyone how are we all? I am attending the orcward taking of smaug this weekend it is a 750 point tournament.now on to buisness I have thought of a few different additions to this list

Undying FB
5 morannons with shield 5 morannons with shield and spear
taskmaster
5 morannons with shield 5 morannons with shield and spear
kardush
5 morannons with shield 5 morannons with shield and spear

now these are the options

A) shagrat warleader 4 morannons with shield 4 morannons with shield and spear and put a banner in somewhere
B) named wraith 5 morannons with shield 5 morannons with shield and spear
C) orc shaman on warg 5 morannons with shield 5 morannons with shield and spear banner, armour for FB and 3 orcs for kardush

what really lacks in this list is a killer hero.

take B, pick a fighting Nazgul (Marshall, Knight or Khamul) and give him the fell beast instead of the Undying. With Kardush and a fellow Nazgul your opponents will just have no way to get rid of the undying

I see Dikey's point, although I think that when saying the words 'Undying on Fellbeast' the 'BEAST' part should be emphasised. When he's mounted on one of those things he becomes one of the greatest pains in the [word deleted] in the game, IMHO. He's able to transfix effortlessly and compel opponents into him and set up some great heroic combats and hurls, and unlike some of the other wraiths he will rarely run out of will, so you can throw him in again and again. Wraiths on Fellbeasts are killer heroes: the rider may not be, but the mount is. However, I too would go for B, morannons are a solid choice and another named wraith, possibly the Dark Marshall, would provide a nice buffing character for your troops and more magic to keep the Undying's will topped up.

I think bringing fury is going to be very strong. I feel that between the FB and Kardush you should be able to kill some heroes. Not to mention having all str 4 troops.

Morannons are expensive orcs to kill for kardush... Also a bit odd to have whole army just morannons... But if u like why not...

Anyways fellbeast is ok hero, but personally i feel its stats suit better for 500p game. 750p it lacks power. Instead you could consider a nazgul + troll chieftain? Or evne normal troll. Cave drake could be interesting and strong choice too... But it cannot command units so im not sure if its 75p more worth than mordor troll... Since nazgul can transfix -> trapped -> troll hits a lot. Sure in practical nazgul cannot always support the troll. Some cavalry could do a lot, or maybe 2 handed uruk-hais... Sorry this is just tired mind flow.

I would go for some option similar to B.

Depending on you style maybe Gothmog/Troll Cheiftan or named nazgul, maybe Dark Marshall or Khamul.

For me the troops boils down to more morannons, F4 infantry, or morgul knights.

And don't forget spectres. Moving banners and spearmen supporting heros is a big help!

So Im exhausted right now but confused....so are you asking what are the two best options? Because after your initial warband, another one of those options wont fill to 750.

LOTBR one of the options will fill to 750pts with the already present undying on FB taskmaster kardush and 30 morannons

DEFINITELY Shagrat then. He murders heroes and is a combat champ. I take him all the time man. Very worth his cost.

Shagrat ain't bad... But f is lower than aragorns, boromirs, most opposing heroes so he might need some aid with them... He can command units for bearable points.

I would vote for Shagrat-.... hes nastier by itself cause if the fellbeast flops you lose punch, shagrat is still a worth bag of punching and that D7 ona multiwound model yu can take some hits before even using fate. not to mention yu got a durable a slower heroe to go with your orcs~.... the naz on fellbeast can be hindered if hes ment to stay behind to buff courage the morannon....

But besides Bolg amd Azog wbat other evil heroes have fight 6 or higher? You can probably name them on one hand.

Shagrat is pretty good hero and good choice! Maybe a few like 6 uruks would help it not feel lonely instead more morannons?
