Hi all,
There is a local tournament coming up and I need some pointers (on the build and the use) for the following army.

Erestor
6 HE w shield
4 HE w elf bow and spear
1 HE w shield and spear
1 HE w banner

Arwen
7 HE w shield
4 HE w elf bow and spear
1 HE w shield and spear

Ghan Buri Ghan
9 Woses

Gandalf the Grey (Leader)

700, 37 Models

I hope to use the strengthen will/natures wrath combo. Set up would be D6 infront and woses behind. Gandalf immbolising trolls and other threats and CBL against shooty armies. I dont have gandalf on horse
I was thinking of switching out Erestor with Gildor. Opinions?

Gildor is mostly terrible. Anyway, there's no point in you having him in your army because you've already got Gandalf. Looks mostly solid, but I'd drop the banner in favour of a few more models and change Gandalf to Saruman; either the new one if you want a wizard who will never fail to cast anything, or the old one on a horse to get into the best positions for sorcerous blasts, which would mean that your army should decimate shieldwall armies, as long as ou use natures wrath when it can't be resisted by enemy heroes.

Ill like to keep the banner for aesthetics of the army.
The tournament that Im going to I will probably end up against a very shooty harad list, durins folk and Isengard w crossbows.
I dont have Saruman on horse
Would giving either Erestor or Arwen a elven cloak be worth it?

I am just wondering a little the themic of this army. I can imagine an event where elves and wildmen happen to help each others. But Saruman seems odd choice, gandalf could be somehow gathering information etc?

Saruman is cheaper and so much better in the game though, although ideally, if you take him on foot, then you take the new Saruman.
