Hello,

Recently got my paints and minis back out as a way to relax in the evenings. I played quite a lot a number of years ago, but back then I was mainly an active member of the Last Alliance rather than the One ring, I seem to remember some inane rivalries between this site, TLA and the palantir for some reason! Seems to me that TLA is now just a husk of it's former self and TOR is the happening place for the LOTR hobby!
Been very much enjoying reading the articles and especially through peoples work in progress threads which has really given me the inspiration to get out the boxes of blisters that I've had squirreled away for all these years and get painting. Hopefully will find someone to play a few games with too if possible, although it seems there are some rules changes for me to get acquainted with first!

Thanks for the welcome. Just trying to figure out what I actually want to paint. Have so many ideas about what I'd like to do :(.

Welcome back! I'm a TLA man myself and joined them first, but I've migrated to TOR after TLA got unactive which is unfortunate.

Welcome Alun! This is indeed the most frequented LOTR SBG forum on the net these days, although even here traffic has slowed due to the emerging popularity of the GBHL facebook group.
