I must say that despite this model being cool to paint, I hate that helmet... It doesn't fit the Mordor army style and takes away one of my favourite parts on a miniature - the face.

I'm happy with his skin though, but I still think that I could have done a better job with the Red Eye on the banner...

Another one finished

The official paint scheme of the armour of Faramir looks too normal in my opinion, so I have decided to apply a gold outline in certain parts of it.
It is a simple thing, yet it gives a different look to the model.

Those gold outlines and decorations look great! They really make him stand above the regular knights.

I don't think you're a beginner anymore! You should enter the March contest. It'll be a nice challenge and you can show off your work to people who may not have seen it yet.

Most of the time, I've been off contest because I'm painting the BGIME chronologically... But I suppose I'll start painting the minis for the contest, and then post them by their correct order

That looks awesome! Feel like the blade should have a touch more depth to it seeing as how you put so much work into the rest of the model.
