Great displayability about the bases. Nice touch with the freehand coat, a lot of work in that that is not unnoticed.

Bombour has got to be my favourite, love it. Really given me inspiration to my dwarves in the barrels better!

Thanks, Orcs are one of the few races you can bend the rules a bit and make some cool skin tones now and then and cloth schemes too, chaos is freedom.

Pushed through Ori.

Cool looking orcs, orc archers are always welcome in my book!

Pretty clever idea with the Morannon Orc Bowman.

Converted another Bowman. I painted the teeth perfect on this model and go figure the arrow and string cover the face a bit too much, lol. no biggie. The conversion I think is pretty good.

Added this one. didn't want to bump the post (best to leave surprises for repeat viewers). But here is the orc archer that donated his bow to the morannon orc, put the morannons arms on this guy and made an axe head and sculpted a hood for him. Pretty easy. Also slapped blood on to see how it would look, meh.

Nice conversions! This gives me some great idea's what to do with the extra parts from the Hunter Orcs! :)

One thing I was wondering, how do you make the arrows and especially the feathers?

Thanks everyone, much appreciated.

For arrows there are a couple ways. The quiver is toothpick that I filed grooves into and applied feathers with greenstuff. I made a single arrow with wood also and green stuff but it is not ideal. For the arrow he is firing I used a length of paper clip with a small piece of paper glued to it. You can wrap the paper around so that the ends come out where you want them. After it is cured you can trim the paper down a bit. The glue will have absorbed into the paper making it like thin plastic. After that you paint it to suit.

Very nice conversion and paintjob. 8) That variant is highly convertible isn't it.
