Hi I'll participate this time. I'm starting with 9 models, If isn't a problem, because I'm not sure about wich of them will be better at last. If I can I will up another one photo with only four.

Ah, my minis are Mordor's Uruk-Hais, and I must do some conversion before start painting.

See you soon with more photos.

@Karavatis - yes thats fine. Paint them all and pick your best 4.

@Meneldor - nice model buddy. Look forward to seeing what you can do with it.

Is Gollum OK for Mordor? He's under Mordor in the rulebook but thematically a bit iffy...

Image

I have some unpainted Mordor Orcs if they are more suitable.

Good work there! Natural conversion and great paintwork.

Here's a couple more WIPs of mine, I'm working on the 4th model now (although I may not enter all 4 at the end) and trying to decide whether or not to do some kind of scenic display base for them.

The finished Captain:

The finished banner bearer:

And another Captain, who I've converted a little to resemble Easterling styles and colours. Maybe it's my 40k side talking, but even in LotR I like Orcs having 'looted' stuff, so throughout my Mordor army are weapons and shields ect nicked from just about anyone else.

This lad has been hanging around for too long. I'm hoping posting this will get him done!

Image

Essentially I'm too tight to buy the official Morannon-Orc-Captain-at-the-Quay figure. I suspect after watching that bit again tonight his legs will have to come off...

JDE

(if that doesn't show I'll fiddle with settings tomorrow!)

Hi, just an WIP update on the Winged Nazgul

Image

Base is painted - for those interested here's how this was done ...
Click to: Show
Stone - layered with codex grey, heavy drybrush fortress grey and light drybrush of white. Elven Shield - shining gold, devlan mud wash, highlight burnished gold. Goblin green edge on the base 'cos I'm an old skool WFB player :)

Undercoat on the wings came out heavy, filling the tears/holes in the wings. Still working on the body, bit more green stuff to clean up and I magnetised the two different necks so I can switch out for either ringwraith or witch-king. Final model, if I get there, will be the ringwraith.

Got my 4th model done (not that these are final pics, I'll try and get a proper photography setup for that).

Image

@streeline: Looking forward to seeing that. I have those conversion parts lying around somewhere myself.

Finished my Mordor Orc Drummer. I'm quite pleased with him, it's a shame they didn't release him as it was such a fun model to paint.

A few of the images are a little darker on the PC then they were on the camera...I'll try and remember to take some brighter ones when/ if the sun comes out.
Time to work on the Shaman now, hopefully I can get him done it time.
