I have a lot more Dwarves, though I'll be redoing the bases to match what's seen here.

Honestly, these guys are the first ones I've painted in several years. I was working on some Isenguard forces as well, but took my 50+ fully painted Dwarves + Gandalf the Grey to a local GW "Armies on Parade" only to be the butt of several 40k and Fantasy players on going jokes. My interests wandered to 40k, Privateer Press and then back to my first love (and game I paint for) BattleTech.

That said, here's my scout Uruk's who are going to be Mauhur Marauders. I need to finish the shield-less guys as their bases aren't done and their hair/black leather isn't done either on their heads. I'm also going to repaint all of the lower bases the light brown of the Grim Hammers just because.

Fantastic attention to detail. Great muscle definition on those scouts and the dwarves are a real treat. Really like how you've painted up their belts. Splits up the armour nicely.

Hope to see more of your work soon!

The blue cloth looks fantastic on the Uruks. Makes them really eye-catching.

I love the Dwarves, the metal looks so great, especially considering it is nearly all metal.

Thanks guys! I will say that the "blue" on the Uruk-hai is just black highlighted up with grey; I guess it shows that way in the photos, but in person it's just black :D

So, I'll cheat now and upload a few of my older dwarves that I did several years ago. I won't be able to paint much on LotR as I'm busy with some CGL BattleTech product painting, but I hope to get something done on the LotR front "soon"

Khazad Guard:

I plan to redo the bases and actually paint them to bring them in line with the Uruk-hai and Grim Hammers. I only have like 50 or so fully painted dwarves. No big deal right?

And I forgot about Gandalf... how can you forget about him?

Sadly the photo doesn't do the model justice in my opinion. The blends are bit better in person, at least to my eyes. The camera/editing really separated them :(

even by "cheating" (not really!!), they are wonderful. Especially the rangers (inc. the tatoo) and the wizard.
I hope you get quickly back to LotR, you've stuff to show!

Highlighting blue up to white shows some confidence and no shortage of talent.

I have six painted Iron Guard; three of them have some packs added, three are stock. I also have another six or eight metal ones that I'll have to figure something out for. Or trade. Dunno yet.
