Hi guys,

Long-time lurker first time poster! Been a hobbiest for about 12 years, like many I started with Battle Games In Middle Earth and moved into other areas of the hobby from there. I worked as a casual for GW for 7 years and left in 2012.

I have a particular enthusiasm for most of the specialist GW games - Blood Bowl, Mordheim, Inquisitor, Necromunda - and have a couple of armies for Warhammer Fantasy and 40k, which I play rarely.

My real passion has always been The Lord of the Rings minis and whilst I've always enjoyed SBG, I feel as though War Of The Ring is the best rules set GW has ever realised - despite the lack of balance and vagueness of some rules.

I currently game a lot with a group of ex-GW staffers, one who's and ex-golden demon judge and multiple time winner and others who's standard of hobby is very, very impressive. We're currently all painting War of The Ring armies. Some of us are also trying to create very broken armies in order to beat one member of our gaming group who ran away with the only Ausutralia wide WOTR tourney ever run - with an army so disgusting that nobody has over been beaten once in 6 years.

I've joined One Ring with the hope I can share our armies and games with you guys. I'll start snapping some pics and posting them up, hopefully we can inspire others!
