Hi everyone,

I once saw a set of maps for middle earth. They were done in parchment / sepia tone style. They were gorgeous. Each map depicted an area such as Gondor or Mordor.

I haven't been able to source them since. Does anyone know of these maps or where I could find them?

Cheers,
Michael

Try searching for 'Maps of Middle Earth: The Lord of the Rings Map Set' they're maps by Daniel Reeve. His personal website: http://www.danielreeve.co.nz/LOTR/Maps/

There's a seconds set called 'Maps of Middle-Earth: Cities and Strongholds' which is also pretty cool :) not sure if they're still on sale generally though, may have to try ebay!

Hope that helps

Andy

The maps you are talking about were a limited edition with only 1000 made and the certificate of authenticity was signed by the artist Daniel Reeve. There were six maps 17" x 22" and were sold in 2002. I have #580/1000 and the only time they have been out of the tube was to photograph them several years ago.
