Thank you Gandlaf! I must say it didn't even occur to me, the almost camouflagedness.

Well,

I finished a project about 5 days ago. I is the only picture I've got at the moment but I think it is very easy to see what it is....

A Coming of Smaug/Garrison of Dale armies on Parade!
I've made this Diorama/Armies on Parade board for the Games Workshop Rotterdam's monthly painting competition, this month being Armies on Parade.

The Armie that is displayed includes Girion and 10 Warriors of Dale.

Also, I've got some miniatures of mine as a Visiting Army on display at Games Workshop Rotterdam, which I think is a really cool.

Critics, Comments & Qeustions are welcome.

It looks great! I know it's on display for the competition, but I'd love to see some more pics when the competition is over!

That is an exceptional piece of terrain. The use of green in the stonework has really given this an aged and abandoned look, first class job.

Great work on the Dale diorama, it really is very good.

I also really like your Mirkwood elves. I loved the sculpts when I got into the hobby earlier this year. I think you (and the autumn colours outside) have rekindled my interest in them, just need to justify picking some up now.

Thank you all! I'm very happy with how it turned out!
As the competition was yesterday, I should say I grabbed the Silver Armies on Parade medal. All the competetors were able to give 3 other entries ,except their own, 5, 3 or 1 point(s). My entry, one of the two Hobbit/LotR entries that day (out of eight!) had gotten enough points to be declared second. The other Hobbit/LotR entry was placed third and received the bronze medal. A Warhammer Fantasy Tomb Kings army got the golden medal.

Thank you Erunion!

And here, I've finished something new!

It is Radagast the Brown and Sebastian the Hedhehog.

I am currently working Legolas (I converted him with Orcrist because I thought it would look cool, and now we're getting him with Orcrist for real and with the rules. I don't need no new Legolas no more!)
and 11 Mirkwood Rangers and 2 Palace Guard Captains, in anticipation of the new Elven releases next week.

Greets,

Niek.

Unfortunatly, the statues aren't mine but the Games Workshop Rotterdam's ones. The statues are part of their new Hobbit gaming board. I took my pictures in the store.

I'm liking how you've done his coat, has a very natural and weathered leather feel.

And the new Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm has been build. Only the base has to be done and then he is ready for an undercoat!

And I have to say the sculpt is really good!

And I have to build the remaining 2 Mirkwood Knights out of 4 I ordered.
