Thanks.
Yeah I will be switching legs around when it works out. I do this in this next batch of 4 here.

Edit - they are in order for the most part L-R, here is the poster version I made to save Web Space.

Should have known that you would be switching legs/torsos - excellent job.

Always good to see someone spending time to get a nicely varied force without duplicates. Takes some effort, but very much worth it.
Looking forward to the next bunch, as well as groupshots - especially when painted!

Fantastic effort! I'm really looking forwards to seeing a group shot of them when they're all done; sure they'll look like a really threatening horde.

Question on your technique, do you have a jeweler's saw to cut them? Do you pin the bodies or just glue?

Yes I use a Jewelers saw. It is the best way to cut metal and plastic mini's. GW switched to Exacto saws and they are ok if you are really hacking a thick piece, but for conversions I prefer a jewelers saw.

And yes also to pinning. I try to always pin parts together. I even pin hands and the spear shafts back on and the feet are pinned to the base, the extra green stuff on the foot at the base is to give it a bit of a pad to glue down when the time comes, but it doesn't keep the model on the base, they are still removable until I apply base materials. Later I will be putting new sward blades made of sheet styrene on, and even these are made a bit long so I can make a pin hole in the hand and can file or cut down the end of the blade to insert it into the hole giving that little extra support.

I am an average painter, below average sculptor, but I love converting and am not afraid to cut anything off. :)

Know what you mean, no figure has become safe from my xacto blade or saw. What started with cutting and switching of hands/weapons has progressed to switching of torsos. Once I get better at cloaks and hair I will tackle some other models I've so far ignored.

Yup. I can't wait to see them all painted too. 9 more to convert then I can put the original 7 sculpts together and start painting. Another day though.

Edit to use poster version of pictures

Phew....
Thanks everyone.
That is all 31 conversions. Now I can assemble the 6 original sculpts and the original captain sculpt and start painting up all 38. There were some times when I was stumped for Idea's but I think I still managed to press on fairly quickly. I tried to change poses or tweak them as much as I could and change the helmets with bits and card and the parts I cut off the helms. Well here we go. They do look awesome in a large group unpainted so I can't wait to get them painted up now.

Edit to have all on poster version;
