I've been looking around for suitable hill trolls for a Gundabad army and whilst the general cave trolls and Bhurder are definitely suitable I have also found these. They are closer to my idea of Tolkien trolls prior to films:

I was wondering though, what about scale compared to the GW range trolls. Whilst they have the same sized bases to the Mordor trolls, I worry that the bulkiness may be too much?

Has anyone purchased them or seen them in comparison?

You'd definitely have to modify their weapons. Trust me, I'm a Hill-Troll expert.

Thanks for the post, these look fantastic! I tend not to collect 'evil' miniatures simply because I generally prefer the aesthetics of 'good' armies, but I will definitely be buying at least one of these to paint up as a display model.
