Good afternoon everyone, just wanted to post a link to our latest battle report on my blog that we fought yesterday. I apologize for the lackluster pictures, but it was a fun game to play. Hope you enjoy :)

Nice Gorgoth!

Batrep was fun, easy to read. My only criticism is to try and get clearer photos throughout - otherwise great!

Thanks :)
I was rather disappointed with the pictures. They looked ok when I was taking them, but after everything was all over and I got them onto the computer it was a bit of a shock :? Not sure if I was not holding it steady enough, or if maybe I was using the wrong focus option? Either way, thanks for the comments :)

Nice battle report mate, however I feel that the Rohan player did not use the cavalry to its fullest potential.

It was nice seeing some not so widely used models -like Theoden, the Mouth, and the Great Beast, taking part in the fight!

Keep the battle reports coming mate, and thank you for an entertaining 15 minutes!

No problem, and I'm glad you liked it :)

We were talking about the fate of rohan after the battle was over, and the general conclusion was that the Dice Spirits apparently do not like Rohan, at least that particular day, heh. He did identify some things that he would have done differently, but I can't help but think that the dice really let him down. Only getting priority once out of five turns, and his ent missing out completely on the first two really hurt, even more so with a cavalry army that needs to act first to be successful. Neither of us are anything remotely like SBG experts, so I am sure there are things we both could have done to be more effective, but it was fun nonetheless.

I do enjoy using non-standard models, as to me building an army based on theme and fun-factor is more important than building the most "effective" army. Thanks again for checking it out, and I hope to be posting more soon :)

I couldn't agree with you more. Theme and fun-factor are what make this game enjoyable.

Taking pics is difficult sometimes. I often have shaky hands and cell cameras aren't the best. No worries man. Keep the motivation to do another rep some day
