Hey, while I am not the best of painters, I do enjoy painting anyway!
Here are some of the things I will be working on, thanks.

Hey! This week I did some painting, not alot, thanks to mid-term exams, but I will do some more next week. Critism is welcomed. As I said, I'm not an amazing painter. :-D

Hello!

Well, as mid-term exams progress, I finished a couple of models this week and here they are. Also my converted 'The Undying' figure is my first ever so please leave critisism and feedback.

They're definitely a good start. Do you thin your paints at all? It would help give them a smoother look

Off to a good start, I wish I had those models to paint up :)

One suggestion would be to try drybrushing your silver/metals a lot more. Metallic paints look the best when there is less contrast. At the moment on your knight it is very silver or very tin - a drybrush of silver would make him look less shiny and more evil. When you don't want to drybrush, use a very small amount of paint as it goes on quite thick and thinning it down is quite difficult.

Thank you for the advice! I have limited paints, and no I don't thin my paint, how do you do that?

You can thin them using an acrylic medium (assuming you use GW or another acrylic paints). GW sells one called lahmain (spelling? ) medium. You mix your paints with it on a pallet in roughly a 1:1 ratio and it makes them go on smooth and even

You can thin your paint by simply adding a couple of drops of water to a drop of paint. Medium is also an option.

I think your highlights are a touch extreme. You want a colour between the copper and the silver. Apply something like Boltgun Metal leaving the joins showing the copper, now appal a silver to the edges for a highlight. Make sure your paints are watered down to a milky consistency.

Well you can bring down the highlights by adding some agrax earth-shade. It'll make them closer to your copper color
