Hi guys, this is one I produced a few months ago. It's the first sculpt I've done since getting back into the hobby do it's a bit rough around the edges. The sculpt was initially based on my interpretation of Smaug from the Hobbit (pre-film). I hope you like it :)

I agree with the above, it's brilliant and you should be proud.

Thanks people, it did take a while yeah but I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. Still a few tweaks here and there before it's finished. :)

Looks great and is probably more than I could ever achieve in sculpting. Though, if you don't mind, I'd say that his front legs are too far in the middle of the body.. maybe you can bring them in front of the wing joints instead? would just look more "natural" anatomy-wise :)

Great interpretation of Smaug. You clearly have a magnificent talent for sculpting and you should be overwhelmed with what you have done.
Have you any plans to paint this and if so what colour scheme are you going for.

Hi everyone, thanks very much for the kind responses. I've just uploaded a video to my Youtube channel which presents a better view of the model. Feel free to view it, the link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xor5acKB3iY :)
