you can usually find the magazines on ebay for £3-£5. I know my sub was something like £20 a month for 4 magazines. Best part about coming home from school was hoping they had arrived that day. In todays money I guess £20 would be about $35 but back then the rate was more than £1-$1.15

They had some really great articles, modeling tips, special rules and above all scenarios!

True, it would already be awesome if they would just re-release the scenarios in some form. Still remember the one with Denethor surrounded by his own warriors and only the evil player would know which ones were traitors. There were really some great ideas in there, the scenarios in the journey books look boring by comparison.

Yeah and a Last Alliance one where there were traitors in the good army and Sauron's orcs had to wipe them out before the mind control spell broke.

And the Minas Tirith, Sam and Frodo dungeon crawling ones.

There was even a campaign to link them all together and play a mega campaign over the entire story from Fellowship to Return. Who needs the journey books when you've got BGiME?
