Good thinking guys. I want him to have the same stats as a normal isengard troll but having the shield on his back with weapons in both hands could be good. I'll give it a think.

I do like the big spikes on the shield though, it's already almost more of an offensive weapon than a defensive barrier.

Yeah, if I made him carry the shield, I would make sure their would be some nice scratches, blood splatters and maybe some bloody handprints of victims on there.

Ok, at long last I have an update for you guys.

I never liked the Azog miniature. His pose SUCKED. Also he was too skinny, no where near enough brawn like in the movie....and is face was kinda boring....... I ended up purchasing the model and probably shouldn't have bothered as I ended up re-sculpting most of him. He is nearly finished.

Next we have the new troops for my rohan army. These guys are the viking huscurls from Wargames factory. A lot of people use them for dunlandings here I think.

Image

Speaking of dunland....

Here are a few models from my new dunland army. I used WGF's ancient german warriors.

Image

A dead Rohirrim for one of their bases.

Image

And lastly is a beauitful miniature of the irish beast Cu Chullain. I am going to use him as a leader for my dunland force. I've made some berserk stats for him.

Nice sculpting on Azog, I love your sculpting. Make sure you can see the dwarf faces on his dwarf-skin toga.

:yay:

That Azog is better than the GW version, no lie, it is brilliant and if there was a pose like this then I would want one.

Thanks doods!

My Rohan infantry are nearly all in there positions. (No pics yet I'm afraid) and Azog just needs a little more work done on his right hand and mace.

Azog- Beautiful, dynamic and completely well sculpted in every area of the figure. One very minor nitpick, though, is that Azog's claw hand only has three prongs whereas your model has four.

Great job with Azog. A much more terrifying pose that!

This mini is absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to paint.

I will be using him him in lotr as Cu Chulainn Beast of Dunland.

I've made some stats for him.

F5/4+ S5 D6 A3 W3 C7 M3 W2 F2 Points value - Something high

Wargear

Two swords, a spear (cannot use spear support rule), his bare hands.

Special rules.

Cannot be unarmed

Must charge an enemy if possible. Doesn't have to move towards an enemy if not in range.

Cannot benefit from anyone elses heroic action but his own. Friendly models cannot benefit from Cu Chulainn's heroic actions.

Bringer of death (bolgs super duper rule)

Once per game Cu Chulain may choose to throw his spear. Roles as if it was a normal throwing weapon. If it hits role a D6. Normal ballista rules apply. (yeah this rule is meant for fun and awsome sauce.

Cu Chullain may use the piercing strike rule with his swords.

Nice mini. Shame the fella appears to have dropped the banana he was holding. Even Uruk hai beserkers had some sense of decency. Give that man a loin cloth for goodness sake! Looks like he brought all his wargear but forgot to get dressed first.
