I do have an army shot but it's not great. Once it is all done, I'll dig out a better camera and do some better ones.

Still got Thrain, Young Balin, a hornblower, another banner and 6 Dale archers to finish painting.

My new year project for once I have completed my erebors and hunter orcs...it is soooooo tempting to start painting these now. The detail on everything is beyond amazing.

We want sprue shots and everything, I want to know what I'm missing out on by choosing to continue to adds to my old lothlorien and mirkwood army.

I just built Tauriel, lovely model. I'll do some sprue shots maybe tomorrow when I get round to building them. Trust me though, photos won't do them justice. go out and buy them on saturday.

Do the mirkwood rangers have the same rule set as the current wood elves or will i have to buy the rule book?

Buy the book, they have a very nice special rule. Will probably change the entire meta of the game. In addition, it is a lovely book and well worth the £20 tag.

Does the book have all of the rules that the EFGT Book has too (special strikes, magical powers, etc)?
Also, how is the bow limit of the force?

Nope, you still have to buy a copy of the main rulebook for all that stuff. The bow limit is something different and awesome. Pick up a copy and you'll find out.

I'm clawing at the screen, but nothing is happening!

I feel like my dog does when she sees one of her toys through the glass doors to the garden. I can see them - but no matter how much I scratch, I'm just going to damage the glass. And then get shouted at.

You don't have to post any true spoilers in answering this, but as someone who plays Moria and Mordor, will I need this book to continue playing up to date? Does it change the rules at all for the base game. If so, I may have to get my grubby little hands on it

It doesn't change the base rules, it is a supplement not a rulebook. It does have 3 new generic scenarios in which I cannot wait to play at the weekend. You won't need the book, but I'd get it anyway.
