Awesome Azog! there is something about Boromir's face that looks odd to me, but the painting is flawless.

Boromir '70's style :) Well, the hairdo is.
Beautiful conversion, painting and basing. Boromir looks like he is in his late teens.

I like the paintjob, but I especially give kudos to ukfreddybear for an interesting conversion. Reminds me of something but I'm not sure what.

Your Azog is exceedingly awesome :yay:

Very nice minis! Painting is great as usual! But I think sculpt-wise, the hobbits are absolutely cool!

Nice painting as usual but I guess that goes without saying really.

I just have one unrelated question if you don't mind Kev, what material do you use to build up your bases to make them look like rocky outcrops or cliffs and where might one pick up the said material from?

Cheers guys.

@Phil I use a variety of things to build my bases up but more often than not i use cork. Go to a reptile shop you can buy big chunks of the stuff for fairly cheap.

BTW DMS. Have you ever been to the model railway shop "Peter's Spares" in the riverside park industrial estate in Middlesbrough (near the metal dinosaur sculptures)?

If not you should check it out. Best prices I've ever seen for scenery stuff.

FAT HOBBITS! Great stuff Kev, any idea on the year of release?

It shows how sculpting has moved on! Brilliantly painted.

Great painting once again, especially the NMM (?) aragorn sword. I quite like these sculpts actually, very caricature-ish.
