Nice conversions. You'll need to learn the macro settings on your camera though.

Hope I can share some more sculpts with you, I started new semester at my studies, so I have less free time, but I'll try not to keep you waiting

Hello again guys
It's been a looong time since I last sat in front of my minis and showed you anything, I had lots of work at studies, but at last I have some free time and I'm starting a new project. Can't wait to share the results with you, so I'll give you a little sneak peak tomorrow.

As promised, photo of something I started working on just yesterday. Still much to do and to polish. Maybe someone can guess what character will it be?

Sooner than I expected I finished sculpting chieftain (silly me, signing photo and asking you to guess who it is :x ). ImageImageImage

All that's left is to wait for the gs to get firm and then paint it.
As you probably noticed the chieftain is made from an uruk mini, i didn't change anything about its feet as it looks good just as it is. Tell me what you think about it.

That is a fantastic conversion, very inspiring and executed to th highest standard. For give me, but I don't know your painting standard but DMS or Hannanibal style would make this a show stopper.

Woah he looks bad-ass! I can see him hammering someone's face in repeatedly - yuk. Well done!

I really like the warg cheiftan. Have you considered making casts of your figures? I might be interested in the war for the right price.

I like how he's beating his chest in some sort of frenzy. I hope you really bloody up the model when you paint it!

And here's painted chief

I must say, my painting skills aren't as good as I would like them to be (I have lots of GW models to paint, so maybe I can make some progress when I will have enough time to paint them all :) )

Wow.. that's one evil badass!
Is he bare chested under those leatherstripes?
Don't worry about your painting skills, as you say, say will improve the more you paint and the harder you try :) FOr me I noticed, it's most important to have a good set of brushes. one for smallest details, one for "standards", one for drybrushing, etc... just keep on painting and especially converting! Your output is really inspiring :)

Thanks Rognarr
and yes he's bare chested, after all, such a berserker don't need much armor for hacking anything that stands in his way :)
