Good evening!

I'm starting to pick up the hobby again (mainly collecting for now, but I intend to play the game as well :) ) and I suddenly realized I only know 1 person who actively plays. In Leuven the only store you can get the stuff you need is the "Spelfanaat" and it barely has any LOTR players (or products for that matter).

To the point : are there any hobbyists near Leuven who would like to paint/game together?

Cheers, Sang

Hello!

I study at Leuven and I can confirm that the interest in LOTR is very low at the moment. 'De Spelfanaat' has like no content for it.

Most of the Belgian LOTR community is in Antwerpen. The gaming club 'The Puppeteers' (Antwerpen) and 'Thunderbolts' (Gent) have a good amount of active players.

The 17'th of March there even is a tournament in the Outpost (Antwerpen) if you want to go for a 'vuurdoop' :)

Anyway I don't have any models in Leuven because I'm not 'op kot' so playing a game might be hard. But just contact me if you have any questions or you want to get in touch with other Belgian LOTR players.

Greets!

I will certainly take a look at those clubs in Antwerp. The problem is the distance, unfortunately I can't drive yet and my parents won't be willing to take me there either  Oh well, I guess I'll have to go by train.

Cheers, Sang

ps: expect a PM any time soon ^^

So we are with three playing in Leuven. All students? Mayby we can come together to play a game. But is it allowed in the spelfanaat without membership? Normally I play in Hasselt, so I don't know.

You can play in the Spelfanaat whenever you like (as long as they have room for you.), tuesday is miniature games evening, don't need any membership. You should check out the site for hours and extra info 8)

I'm also studying in Leuven, so maybe we could meet up and play a game with the four of us?

@Reto; we once tried to meet, but it never happened, maybe this is a chance to finally play a game ;)

Sounds like a good idea, although someone will have to teach me the new rules :-D and the old for that matter.

Cheers

There is a group of people I know at the Antwerp GW who play LOTR every thursday I believe. Very friendly people, don't hesitate to ask them to join in a game. :)

I doubt I can make it to Antwerp and back on a thursday... depends on the hours though. What time do they play?
