For me, I find heroes like Shagrat, Gorbag, and Grishnakh are all really good for their points, almost the same points as a Captain but they provide an extra Might Point, which have become even more valuable in the new rules 8)

Not someone I've used but a model that had been used against me... Dain seems pretty solid. Unbelievably won himself some crazy fights last night, only lost a wound in a series of combats where he was being charged by cavalry, eomer, erky as well as warriors of the dead, spear support on all sides. Killed erky, a rider and another couple and only lost when with no might, he was unable to defend against Eomers heroic strike.

Dain F5 is a little low I think (but I love the model...). I have always had trouble against my brother with him as until recently he counldn't be help with a spear and thus could be matched by a random captain with support.

Does he have F5?? I'm sure my opponents had him on F6 last night? Hashut?? :roll:

Durin has F6. Dain is great for his points, his fight is high enough that most people wont be able to match him.

To me best dwarf hero is Durin for killing power but to tie up and hold, thror seems the best with the arkenstone :)
