Ughh, tough choice! Both Fell Beasts are great, but in the end I had to choose DMS's Ice Balrog. From the mystery of the rare, unreleased parts to the painting it's just wonderful!

Ye Gads - this is a tough one. While not disclosing how I voted, or which minis I also liked, I have to say there are 4 here that are bloody marvellous, and the others are pretty damned good as well. Really tough judging folks. Very well done!

All of these entries are fantastic - my vote had to go to Damian's Treebeard, but it was a hard choice! :yay:

Very very very tough to decide, all of you have done epic work this month, all entries strong enough to win maybe in any other place but here, any other time but now!

But vote has been cast...

Very tough choices, and I know that at least 1 of those models has come from me =P But I shall not be biased and I shall not disclose who I voted for, best of luck to all. I voted for the amazing model I genuinely think should win :) - looking forward to the results!

Wow, a really tough one this time around. In the end I had to go for Gwahir. When I first saw it I was stunned. Gandalf, is okay, but not suberb imo. It's Gwahir that makes it. The detailing on the beak, eyes, and head area are so good. And the colouring of the wings and talons are spot on too! It looks really life like.

DMS's was superb as well, but as I've come to expect great things from him, it didn't have the wow factor that Matt's had.

Meatboy also did a great job on the Goblin king's eye's, and may have gotten my vote if the pool of entries wasn't so stinken deep.

As for the other entries, they were great too. Nothing for anyone to be ashamed of for sure. :yay:

So hard :? In the end though Monotone_Matt gets my vote for the excellent texture on Gwaihir's feathers :yay:

OMG OMG very hard choice. Eagles, fellbeasts, balrogs, ents.
Everything is painted really in a pro level we should had more than one votes.

I voted for the treebeard.

Though I don't want to be rude or anything but I think DMS has an unfair advantage because of his unreleased ice balrog. Then I guess that's the perks of being a professional painter

MMS's paint job is extremely realistic, from the subtle yet powerful highlights to well-executed basing. He secured my vote easily.

Went for KnightyKnight's Fell Beast as I think it looks awesome. Great conversion work, Mark!

And thanks to everyone who's voted for me so far - really appreciated :)

Such a hard choice this time especially between Matt and DMS..
I voted for Matt though, since DMS seems to be kinda "professional" at this business (what doesnt make his work any less perfect! )

Well done guys - this has been far and away the hardest month to vote on!

Each of you is deserving of the win. I've seriously enjoyed looking at each of the models and the depth of detail is staggering. Again well done. I think that I'll keep my vote to myself, but am looking forward to seeing how close the count is and wouldn't be surprised if there was a tie.

Stop loading those gas bottles then and become a professional painter :P

I was torn between the Balrog, Gwaihir and Treebeard. I'm giving my vote to Matt's Gwaihir but only just, its a tough month to vote because they're all so good.

:o :o Honestly! why do you all have to be such good painters and make it impossible to chose??!

I won't say who I chose but I would have happily voted for any one of them.
:yay: :yay:
