I'm slowly building a Fallen Realms army, not got the Golden King yet, is he really worth the points at 750 points level games?

Yes, especially if you have a taskmaster
As evil you expect your opponent to break first.
Now imagine you make his heroes run away... suddenly he isnt quite so super

Betrayer is amazing on a fell beast because you get to stay with archers for a while and if you need him in combat he's there within a turn. With his rerolls he's a flying spider queen. Without a fell beast there are about 520 better choices though.

I'd say therr are two ways to play harad these days:
A) Golden King with Abrakhan / watcher / harad spearmen with 50% bows and perhaps 2-3 serpents
B) Reavers!

Half trolls are definitely good, but they are effectively an upgrade to reavers, so it depends how much you're spending on heroes and what metagame you expect. I tend to go with reavers and 2-3RW on FB, but HT are just as viable.

How many half trolls would you field in 750 games? Thay are not cheap, and will eat into your 750 points very quickly! Also, are the Reavers really that good? Apart from having 2 attacks, the rest of there stats look average at best. x

The problem is that my opponent plays lots of minis Tirith soldiers. Nice and cheap with high defence. Also he tends to play the cheap heroes, so I need to use some cheap guys as well so as not to get over run, and the Reavers are not cheap are they? What Harad and Umbar army would you field against a Minis Tirith army like I said? x

And a Mumak if you are at a high enough point level. 750 is about the minimum for one, but at around 1000 I would definitely take one. I play against dwarves alot and a mumak can kill a HUGE amount every turn. It was made to kill heavily armored shield walls, like dwarf and Minas Tirith armies.

How many? Would you give watchers bows? Or get them stuck in with the fighting?

as many as you feel nessecary and can field without proxying ;) maybe shoot with the karna for a turn but then get them stuck in, those 2 attacks come in handy.

Tend to play 750 really. There are always 3 of us playing, winner stays on. I have never stayed on

that'd be plenty. golden king, taskmaster, Dalamyr, betrayer maybe. once that army gets into combat it'll chop its way through anything.

What order would you place the heroes? I have every Wraith, Suladan, Hasharin, Golden King, Dalamyr and Taskmaster?
