...also, in addition to my Arnor army I will be painting a monster to join in with the February painting challenge... question is, Balrog or Drake?

I recognise that drake... haha, I think you should enter the latter choice matey. Looking forward to seeing the magic you'll work on it :)

Do the drake, you have so many more options for different colour schemes. Unless you want to have a purple or blue fire balrog.

So impressed was I with the little goblin captain (not) that I bought some extra Grinnah's and made some simple conversions to become new captains.

All ready to undercoat and paint!

Great model the Cave Drake, what colour are you going to paint it?

Well, It been a while since I did my last update. Well - finally got my Arnor to a complete stage (well the first part of the Army):

Its just a shame the camera doesnt do them justice... usually my iphone is OK. Perhaps I'll try some more tomorrow if it's sunny.

Thanks guys, the first lot of photos on my blog were in the loft and horrible artificial light. These photos and the rest on my blog are when the sun came out for 2 mins! I rushed out and took some photos. Just starting 12 rangers and malbeth, aragorn, Arathorn and 24 rangers of north to have a full Arnor army :-)
I will update these photos when they are done - and to complete month 2 of tale of 8 gamers!

Loving those Arnor minis, should look an impressive force once you get the rest painted up.
