Really nice Ori, the eyes are perfect! Only thing is I would prefer a bit stronger highlight on his hair and beard on the front to define it a bit more ;)

What a great Ori that is, you have good reason to be proud of the eyes they're perfect. Will be tough for anyone to top that in the painting challenge

Nice paintjob.
I really like the cloak's highlighting, how did you do it?

Oh you make me sick! Another class piece of work, you should be well pleased, and rightly so.

What article, can you then also explain the technique?

 I was a bit vague wasn't I lol... I was refering to the article I'm working on about painting Ori.
The technique is just highlighting (but not drybrushing, I find that tooo messy). Basicly you start off with a base colour and then paint the parts that stick out the most in successively lighter colours.

Here's what I did IIRC:
1. knarloc green
2. knarloc green + black + water 1:1:2 (wash)
3. knarloc green
4. knarloc green + bleached bone 2:1
5. knarloc green+ bleached bone 1:1
6. knarloc green+ bleached bone 1:2

:)

That is definately one of the best Balrogs I have seen, and I have seen quite a few. Your colour choices are really effective :yay:
