I have planned that I can play small skirmish games with 5-7 hex but the city will be 18 hexes and then some countryside also..=) The funny, and great, side of this is that there is no limits. I can build as many hexes i want and everything can be used to make the board bigger or more interesting...

I like modular terrain - it makes for easier storage and a greater variety of battle environments. Show us more pics please - this is a great thread!

@Chris: The first hex will be just some place where people may sit and talk. There will be trees between the chairs.

Behind the pilars will be a statue of some sort. That is just it´s pedestal (scratch build)

Few pics:

That´s going to be a marble railing. I also made a mold for the endcaps of the pilars.

Not much to update because I spend few nights to search and photo all of my Lotr miniatures. Because I haven´t played for eternity it took me quite long to locate all of them (still some missing). Well for now on I have to find a better storage for those. Pics of the miniatures are in my blog.
