Hello everyone, what do you think of Isildur as an assasin?
Here are my ideas;

Put on ring
Go to weakest hero
Take off ring
Massacre hero
Repeat :twisted:

If no heroes left, go kill archers.

What are your thoughts on this?

if your opponent has any wraiths or sauron you'd be pretty much screwed.

Isildur is no more screwed by Wraiths than any other hero, it's just that the Wraiths can see him with The Ring on and don't lose Will when fighting the Ringbearer. Sauron is rarely used, so I wouldn't worry about him too much.

With the new rules for The Ring the bearer can charge and be charged while he's wearing it. If the Ringbearer is wearing The Ring in a fight then it acts like a bat swarm, so Isildur doesn't need to remove it in order to fight and becomes pretty deadly.

Bilbo Baggins' new profile doesn't suffer from the downsides of wearing The Ring, so he's worth considering too, in combination with another hero.

Bilbo, once a petty crook, now a deadly hidden assassin!

Gollum gets The Ring if there are no other ringbearers in the army (I personally think that should be extended to 'No other ringbearers or Ringwraiths in the army'). He'd be a fun addition to a Mordor or Goblin Town army as they don't have Bat Swarms. Gollum paired with Shagrat War-Leader would be a nice combo.

Frodo + Faramir would be a nice thematic combo and allow Faramir to take on more powerful heroes or monsters.
