Hey guys, since I'm home for the holidays I got a head start straight away in finishing off one of my Minas Tirith models. It's been great fun to do & I completed the large part of it last night. I'll probably not start another model since the Hobbits out tomorrow (in which case I'll be building hobbit things!) so I'm really excited for that. Here's my progress so far anyway, tell me what you think - I'll try and get them all painted up soon.

Your latest work is really cool! Where do you get those pillars from? Are they plaster casts? thanks

Cyber: Cheers man - I'm glad you like it.

lorderkenbrand: Thanks! The pillars are not cast, they're balsa wood pieces stuck together. They're quick to make & come out really well.

Another top building.

Can you do some shots of all the buildings you've made together?

That is really impressive!!!! I was wondering, do you have a problem with the walls warping after you apply paint?? Right now I use Foam Card (I believe that is what it is called) that I have removed the 'card' part from, and it warps whenever I paint it.....

Thanks guys. I had a spare moment to paint a quick miniatures yesterday. I got a box of elves of the last alliance for my birthday from some friends so I have something to paint now! I've only got one done for the moment, but hopefully I'll find more time soon. Tell me what you think - I'd liked to have taken more time on him but my idea was to get a few done.

They look good, lovely colours :yay: but the eyes need neatening up a bit. Got a realy thin brush?

I agree, much better than me but the eyes need more work. However, you do seem to be rather courageous, as you tried to do them (more than I've ever done)
