How about:
Great Goblin+12Warriors
Grinnah+12Warriors
Durburz+10Blackshields+Blackshield Drum
Blackshield Shaman+10Blackshields+2Bat Swarms
Shade
Dwimmerlaik on Fellbeast
Then 44 points to spend on whatever have you. Or else remove the Fell Beast and/or the whole wraith and put some wargs in? He's sorta a centrepiece at the moment, but for the sake of a better army could do away with him...

Alternate sans wraith:

Great Goblin+12Warriors
Grinnah+12Warriors
Durburz+10Blackshields+Blackshield Drum
Blackshield Shaman+10Blackshields+2Bat Swarms
Druzhag+12Wargs
Shade
Then 18 points left unspent to put into something...

Any ideas?

you should check how usefull the nazgul is to youre force and what is passive skills do and what magic can be usefull for you.... maybe I would remove it and increase my warrior size army larger, so it would be harder for youre oponent to break youre army... and why you dont add some goblin town guys with 2 handed weapons?
well 5pts based for a guy who already is bad in combat making him more lethal to beat up with his club making it easier for you to kill stuff, if he dies well its just 5pts model :

and maybe getting some points for some more cave troll brutallity, I do think the more you get, the more for the win specially on low point game costs :P
Nazgul on fellbeast youre asking him to be bullet magnet lol

Would cutting down on a few Blackshields to get Buhrdur and a couple of cave trolls be worthwhile, or keep the numbers and simply get two cave trolls without the captain (have the Shade escort them for army building purposes) in place of the Wargs? Or even a Troll and Buhrdur...

getting a troll as a heroe seems awesome, not only he got the monster special attacks as well as he also can call heroic channeling, giving him that +D6 to his fight value, making him quite a pretty beast in battle... you need trolls and yea still need wargs, you need a bit of speed to take out some annoying target in the back or making you giving responce to ome faster units

Hm... let's think then... Maybe cut out ten blackshields and have ten blackshields and ten wargs, plus the 24 standard town goblins, blackshield drummer and then Buhrdur and a troll or two...

The shaman and drummers need a shieldwall to protect them really, but quite a nice little list 8)

Well the Blackshields all have shields, so there's something! :) Thanks! Now I just have to work out the most economic way to get Buhrdur and two trolls... They're the only models I need to have the army ready! :)

Cave Trolls on ebay are hardly cheaper than GWdirect... plastic even moreso for some bizarre reason. The problem is that I don't really have anything to offer in trade- all of my old LotR minis got thrown out along with water damaged stuff when the garage flooded earlier this year. I only managed to save my old Nids... *sigh*, I'll just have to see what I can rustle up from wherever!

Just a li'l something for fluff's sake:

The Goblin's Might

Far over the Misty Mountains Cold,
In dungeons deep and caverns old,
Two kings dwelt there: each of Mines and Town,
Though different girths, to each their own renown,
A goblin Great (both in name and weight),
And Durburz of Moria's Crown.

At the feet of the Town's Goblin King,
There rattled hordes a-chittering.
Ten under the Great King's rule direct,
And ten more led by his favoured subject:
His foes they fear, for his scourge to near,
Such is the torturer's effect.

Deep within the peaks of Gundabad,
Goblins live, in bronze armour clad.
Led by Durburz; warg furs on their backs,
Few can bear the force of their attack.
A mighty throng, a dozen strong,
Adorned with shields black.

Feared are the creatures of those caves,
Many men have been sent to their graves.
Wild Wargs, teeth and claws made bare,
A swarm of bats populates the air.
Nowhere to run, as beats the Blackshields' drum,
As their Shaman lords o'er his lair.

Far beyond these caverns and these hills,
Live creatures even mightier still.
The goblins lead these mighty beasts as aid,
Lending brute force to their war brigade,
To reach your goal, fell two Cave Trolls,
And avoid Buhrdur's sharpened blade.

Should the creatures of the caves not do,
What lies beyond is sure to frighten you.
Not of this world, but hidden by a veil,
Tortured spirits, witheréd and pale,
When they are near, you are forced to fear,
As Shade causes courage to fail.

Far over the Misty Mountains cold,
The tale of these two Kings is told.
Should you dare to brave the fearful heights,
Or wander down stone halls dark as night:
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
You may face the Goblins' Might.

I agree. That song is brillaint, nicely ties stuff together. I;m sure if you wanterd though you could have got 3 goblin kings, but I think 2 is enough. Quite funny. well written, in fact if nearly every word wasn't copyrighted you could publish that.

:yay: :yay: :yay:

Yeah, I was tempted to sneak Groblog in there too... But seems silly without even a Shaman to make use of his ability. And I dunno how I feel about fury as a spell anyway...

Fury is a great spell, it's almost neccessary just to keep your gobos around when you break and makes it SO easy to swamp those annoying Elf heros.

How exactly does it work? Don't really get magic from the rules... So it gives every goblin in range a fate save? When s it cast? Is it a lasting effect, or does it cost will every time?

it does exactly what is says on the tin  Fury is an exhaustion spell so once cast, it stays cast until the caster runs out of will. It affects all models within 6" of the caster. Yup, a fate save and passes all courage tests.
A tactic I use is to keep Durburz within 6" so when I get broken, fury allows him to auto pass his courage and therefore use his 12" standfast

Hm. Just weighing up whether I shold try to sneak some shamans and Grolog in my list... Nah, I think I'm good maybe at more points. Also, how does one get shamans in this day and age without ending up with loads of useless and expensive drums and captains?

Shamans are vital for goblins at any points level. And Ebay. Loads on there. The named shaman, Ashrak has fury aswell and is only a little bit more expensive that a regular shaman.
