Can I just ask.....
Although the rules in the new "HOBBIT" rulebook are slightly different, Am I still using the same profile and point values for all my older models to play with the new rules?

Yep, all the same profiles.

If you have the warband books then you should be all set for points and profiles. If you are still working off of the ‘classic SBG’ books (OR, LoME and the various softcovers from the time) then the profiles and MOST of the points will still be the same. There are some changes but most of them seem minor (I think the Spider Queen’s point changes were the single biggest identified). I’m not aware of any major profile changes.

Shame on you Beowulf. There are very big changes to Mahud who became massively nerfed in the new rules, they went from amazing to meh in 1 rules update.

Then there's Rohan Outriders who went from being Heroes to Warriors, the loss of the newer Faramir profile, the addition of profiles for Gandalf's Cart and Bill the Pony, the loss of Khandish Mercs whilst giving normal Variags their ft value, plus many other changes. Plus the upgrades that some units including High Elves, Wood Elves, Giant Spiders, Easterlings, Haradrim, WoMT and BNs can have.

Yeah, but the camels still look awesome :)

Anyway, yes, there are quite a few changes in the warband books, most of them worth it imho.

I haven't seen a copy of the warband book with Fallen Relams forces yet, so I didn't really know much about the change to the Mahud. I'm actually sorry they have been taken as far back as 'nerfed' though I will admit I thought the camels were OP when they first came out. GW probably just swung too far the other direction which is typical.
