I've bought the lot already apart from rulebook, case and paint set for which i have no use. I'm counting on Forge World re-releasing Amon Sul and am ready for it this year.

Just the starters set for me, seems like the only set that is somewhat worth the price.

Just the LE Boxset for now - some of the rest looks ok but is too expensive even with online discounts.

None of the above. I have allocated my slush funds to Warlord Game's: Bolt Action WWII and English Civil War miniatures. That being said, I am hoping Santa will be kind and not give me coal this year.

I'd personally first like to get my normal lotr collection back on track, so getting some good ol' metals off ebay probably before getting into The Hobbit.

But if it 'had' to be sthing hobbity... The starter set probably

Starter Set, Goblin Town, Paint Set, Wargs and Fimbul to Lead the Wargs. So excited about this! Lots of painting and assembling to do =D

I may pick up a Goblin Captain later down the line if playtests prove him a requirement.

I'm debating getting the starter set and then selling the goboes *strokes imaginary beard*.
Even if I do get the dwarfs though I think I'll sculpt my own versions too :-D

I can absolutely guarantee from next weekend ebay will be going bat-nuts crazy for anything hobbit related, you'll get your money back on the goblins =p. And anybody that has a radagast is looking at golddust lol.

I highly doubt that lol - I don't think the box set is that limited. Its a selling point by GW thats all - a good one mind it certainly worked on me. I think the Radagast mini will fast beome 10 a penny and will end up fairly cheap - same as the Frodo wearing the one ring (clear resin) your unlucky these days if you pay more than a tenner for it.

Hmm good point, but that was a rubbish mini (Frodo) I for sure hope they release a Sebastian the hedgehog mini, I'm certainly getting one of them. Might just sculpt one myself actually and make up ridiculous powergaming rules for it, muawhaaha.

I am holding money aside for Middle-earth items of the non-28mm variety but more of that at a later date...

Of the hobbit - only the starter set. If I decide I want to afford that.

My money will be winging it's way to the perry's, in exchange for a Lannister army. And some Tyrells. And Martells. And Greyjoys. And more Starks.
