Hello all,

Going to finally get on board here with a challenge, have been lurking for a little bit now and wanted to join, but haven't had the time as of yet.

My entries are Gandalf the Grey, and Gandalf the White ft and mounted. Not sure which will get done, but may do more than one.

Wish me luck!

Here is some progress on my Gandalf the White:

I may still paint the grey version as the challenge entry because grey is so much easier to get look good... :-)

Looking good! I especially like what you've done with Shadowfax!

Thanks Sid, it was done with a basecoat of black/shadow grey, gradually adding a secret ingredient (hmmm... I wonder what?) for each progressive highlight.

New avatar, I see :P

I'll be having a go at The Undying.

I mean, he's the same base sculpt as mounted Gandalf the Grey anyway. :P

Would Flói Stonehand, Loremaster of Moria be allowed in the painting comp? He the nearest thing to a wizard the dwarves have!

I'm not Red(pink) Corsair, but I know if I were to vote that I would certainly consider him. Worst thing that happens is you don't get any votes and you have a lovely painted Floi.
