The sculpting looks good. I especially like the wings.
Good luck with the house planning/building.

Great sculpting. 1:1 scale - so you are converting an attic? Nice. You do know that Professor Von Dorthonionstein's Law states that the number of minis you have will always exceed the maximum theoretical storage capacity available? Less knowledgeable scientists call it Dark Matter; I call it The Backlog.

The only good thing about SW (IMO, of course) is the Imperial March!

Otherwise it's just too cliché fairy tale with weird family connections between EVERYONE for me. So watch LOTR!

Nobody born in the 1970's would ever make a comment like that, so I can assume you are not of my generation and a lot younger! It's difficult to explain why Star Wars is so much more than just another movie for my generation, but it was more in the way of what it represented. Nothing like SW had ever come to the big screen before, and George Lucas completely rewrote the book on film making and revoutionised the special effects industry. There was no digital, no movie channels on TV, no VCR's let alone DVD or blueray. Cinema was the only way to see films. Also, tickets weren't booked way in advance from a phone or computer where you could choose what seat you wanted (they didn't exist!). You had to queue around the block with everyone else and pay at the door. This meant getting there hours in advance of the showing just to guarantee a seat! It was a childhood experience that I have fond memories of. If I had to give up my entire film collection apart from one, as much as I love LotR these days, it would have to be the original Star Wars movie from 1977 that I would keep. It was literally a life changing experience. Such a futuristic but beat up world, so different from the gadget free one we had back then, and its a fun - albeit a little cheesy - story to lose yourself in for a couple of hours too. :-D

Lol - I also am a huge Star wars fan ( i was also born in the 70's).

Star wars and Lotr are not really comparable (is that a word) they are totally different the only thing they have in common is they are both fantastic.

Sorry to hijack your thread Bart :)

Star Wars introduced a lot of beasts and some babes as well.
I had been reading sci-fi for years before the film was released in UK on my birthday in 1977. Every film or TV show I had seen prior to that featured these clunky, slow moving ships and static scenes. Then SW gave us full on firefights, dogfights, exploding planets, a piece of junk (fastest in the galaxy), a fabulous sound track and loads of toys.
Aah.... the good old days.

Nice colours Bart, the fishnet thingies must have been quite troublesome to paint.

They were terrible to do, even with a technical pen ;) ... but even worse to correct when I dotted a stupid orange spot on it... :(

She has been standing halfly painted for a very long time on my shelf, just because I didn't know how to progress... what colours to choose etc.
I guess the coming of Halloween helped me a bit :)
