Hey there!

This is my first post and first attempt at converting with green stuff, thought you might be interested to look! I'm currently working on two seperate projects; a conversion of FoTR Boromir and an Arwen diorama for my girlfriend (pics later this week).

While I was painting Boromir, I found him a bit bland and thought I'd try to sculpt him an Elven cloak to spruce him up a bit. I'm fairly pleased with the way it turned out, but the folds of the cloak still have quite a rough surface. Does anyone have any recommendations for treating this? Filing? Liquid green stuff?

Thanks for your help guys!

Wow cheers for the speedy reply and feedback mate! In all honesty I should probably buy some tools, as I only really used a toothpick :P

Also, I'm a fan of your stuff, I especially liked your Eomer conversion!

The pictures are a little small but from what I can see Boromirs cloak looks great. The folds are all in the right places. Looks good mate well done - far better than I could ever do 8)

Thanks! Clicking on them makes them bigger, I couldn't work out how to add larger pics. I used the 'album' option, any tips?

:pippin: You are right, the cloak does make the miniature more attractive. I wish I could use Green Stuff. I have some ideas for it but not the time to master it.

I had no prior experience with GS and just gave it a shot! I'm glad I did.

New photos!

Had to stop because it's pitch black outside and my room lighting sucks! :(

Let me know if you're curious about the colour scheme or have any recommendations!

Really nice painting. Especially on the cloak. 8) Have you tried uploading pictures onto Photobucket? If you do that, the pictures will turn out better and you won't have to click on the photos for a bigger one. :)
