Yep the closeup certainly does the paint job justice - really nice colouration and the eyes are great too! I really hate spiders

It is painted Spanish moss. In that scale it looks like red thread. :lol:

I got tired of working with the strange colors and made some more natural trees. These need to dry over night for the next stage.

The girls played flower factory until they decided they wanted to make their own Hobbit houses.They based painted them before they decided it was too hot and went inside to play.

I added blended green flocking and finally yellow flocking much like highlighting. I use cheep hair spray as adhesive.

I used a combination of the saw dust colors I made and WS Green blend for the ground work.

The barn is a replacement for a paper building from The Terror of the Lichmaster 2nd addition WHFB campaign set.
The idol is for this years Halloween game.

Thanks. I use hot glue to attach the lichen to the tree trunks. I used school glue, washable PVA , to attach the flocking to the base. The hair spray is perfect for top coats and highlight coats of flocking.

Note on the school glue. It is not the best but I have young kids around and it is safe.

I left my self some extra time to play today

I always intended to use flocking as the Moss but I saw the excellent job of painting on Tabletop Heroes wip. I am unsure now.
How does the test on the old models look :?:

I might even try some flowers on the homemade troll.

OMW - could you post a close -up picture of one of the test trolls - I wouldn't want to give an opinion on them without looking at them a little closer - they look great but the picture is taken a little far away.
