Hey Guys, I am trying to re work an idea for a Rohan Heroes in my army. I was thinking of using Eomer, Knight of Pelennor as he is a no brainer. I was trying to decide between theodred and Erkbrand. What are people's thoughts ~ Brian

Eomer is a monster, 4 attacks S5 when mounted and charging is just unmatchable! I'd use Erkenbrand, for his horn and redshields

I guess it depends on what size game you are playing. Eomer is quite expensive (yes he is a beast, but can he kill his points back), I would use erkenbrand and probably eorl the young.

Not to be forgotten: Grimbold and Eowyn.

Yeah as others have said Eomer is expensive, Erkenbrand has upgrades and a horn, Eowyn is cheap, Grimbold has upgrades, Hama has special ability, Gamling is expensive with the banner. There are alot of reasonably cheap heros that are pretty good but not great. Depending on the size of the army have a look through the sourcebook. :)

I am looking about at different size armies from your basic tournament 700 to 2000. In the 2K, I am going to probably use as many as I can. Theodred is great though his lack of Fate is rather crippling. Right now, the only model I dont have out of the lot is Grimbold and I will need to correct that to add him (as his abilities are worth the points). I am just trying to decide on Eowyn (on horse or no), Theodred (on horse or no) and Hama.

I always try to put Eowyn on a horse as she only has 1 attack.

Considering that her horse is cheaper than most, you might as well take it.
