I sure am.

A bit got cut out of the base on the right side when I removed the background. Saruman's robes are Komando Khaki followed by Bleached Bone and Skull White. He'll have grass on the base when he's done, but painting is done.

Thanks, I had been dreading his big solid whiteness and putting it off. When it came to it he was a pleasure to paint. All the folds and draping of the robes lend themselves well to layering and I knocked him out in one sitting. I'm particularly proud of the face, though it is the result of screwing up his eyes and eyebrows and painting over them again and again until by luck my random twitching produced a decent pupil.

Very nicely painted and good skin tone there (I always struggle to get a realistic skin tone)

Very nice Saruman. He looks very commanding; like a leader should. 8)

Working slowly on another 24 goblins, they've gotten a lot better with warbands (IMHO). I'm also hoping to use them for Hobbit scenarios (though we'll see what the Misty Mountain orcs look like in the film). When they're done I'll be up to 60 goblin warriors and will need to pick up some more captains to lead them. I'm totally sold on the "65 goblins in 500pts" plan.

This made me laugh as that is exactly how I have to do eyes . . . persistence usually pays off.

Finally finished the goblins...
This will bring the painted total up to 60, for a nice round 5 warbands. I'd like the Moria army to get bigger, but I think I've got enough standard warriors for now, Prowlers and Gundabads will be next (that and more captains to lead them).

Yeah, I finally added a white hand to Lurtz's face, which adds a lot. I'll get around to taking a new photo eventually.
