Thanks. The grey stuff is called Pro Create. Its a better version of green stuff.

The yellow grey putty I used for the troll is called Milliput. It is great to use and can be smoothed down really well, but it is not very good for finely detailed sculpting work.

I have finished sculpting the Isengard Troll. This has got to be one of my quickest sculpts yet. Also one of my best, ignoring the fact that I used ready made components.

Now I need to construct his base. Shouldn't be too hard. Any advice welcome though.

Excellent finish. 8) Any ideas on what you want the base to look like? I'm not very creative with bases but you could add rocks here and there.

I'm not concerned with what goes on the base. I need to make the actual base. I do have a plan though.

I have had some Osgiliath Veterans lying around for a while and I finally did something with them.
I converted them to make them look different from the other three.

The Pro create putty is similar looking to the plastic heads.

Nice sculpting work! The troll is just great. U are also really good at those heads. I really find it hard to sculpt a decent face.

I thought he said they were plastic heads? Nice conversions anyhow.
Great work on the troll. He looks a little broad across the shoulders compared to the others, but not abnormally so. Some people are naturally broader than others, so why not trolls? You have some skills with the putty!

Thanks guys.

Haha, yes the head i plastic, as is the sword, shield and breastplate.

And the troll does looked very jacked around the shoulders. I tried my best to get the anatomy right and got very carried away with the muscles just like I did when sculpting Burhdur. I have a habit of giving people broad shoulders, especially in drawings. I also have a habit of giving people really long legs. Luckily this didn't show in the troll lol.

Are the heads and horn from the Warlock Games Vikings?
I want to make some conversions with them but I don't know if fit the scale of the GW Lotr.

Thanks.

Could you guys do me a favour? Whenever I upload a photo, it gets cut off from the side. I am just uploading this photo of a troll as a test. The troll should be perfectly centred. Can you tell me if the photo is cut off from your view?

By the way, more updates to come on the Isengard troll so stay tuned. I've added arrows and weapons to make him look like he's in the middle of a bloody battle.
